Welcome to the Books & Beer Hangout! This is a weekly video chat on topic related to something in or around the world of digital publishing… and we drink beer!
This week new author Rose Gonsoulin takes you down the path and process she took to develop a good cover for her book.
Rose had a clear idea what she wanted for the cover of her new romance novel, so she didn’t expect it to be very difficult to put together. The writing was the hard part of the process, right? Spoiler: It took her a lot longer than she thought! She will share some of her early examples, discuss what worked and what didn’t, and how others can learn from her quest to save themselves a lot of time and frustration.
For the first 15 minutes we usually have a guest or two and broadcast live via a Hangout On Air. We watch the comments feed on Google+ and encourage people to ask questions for the guests.
After that we we open up the chat to everyone in what we call the “Hangover”. Join us then to ask your questions directly, and by all means bring your own beer!
To join you just need a webcam, a microphone, and speakers (or a headset). Follow us on Google+ at https://plus.google.com/u/0/105236277208554710444/posts and go to our page during this time to watch or join in!
