Book discovery. It ranges from haphazard to kind of creepy, so we brought on a couple of guests to help us tackle the issue. John Ward is a huge supporter of indie publishing, and will be published on his own very soon. Mike Reeves-McMillan is a many-times published indie author, book reviewer and another staunch supporter of indie publishing.
We got a little personal, discussing how each of them — and both of us — find and discover new authors and books to read. Some won’t surprise you, but some certainly will. Readers will enjoy this show because they may find a few new discovery points. Authors will enjoy learning some what-not-to-do stories from the wild.
Sound like a good time? We had fun. And it’s only a 15-minute investment of your time to enjoy this episode of The Books & Beer Hangout.
And there was the obligatory drinking of beers. Tonight’s choices: Evo had a Tanilla Porter by Knee Deep and Jeff had a Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout by Odell Brewing. Our guests were somewhat more reserved.
